International Gsieser Tal Race - the top sporting event

No other sporting event in the South Tyrol attracts as many participants as the Gsieser Tal Race, which will be taking place for the 27th time this winter. Over 2,500 cross-country skiers from 28 nations, comprising world and Olympic champions as well as an enormous crowd of real amateur sports enthusiasts will match their skills on the 25 km sprint distance or on the 42 km classic style marathon distance. On February 19th there will also be the chance for young athletes to prove their skills at the Mini Val Casies, with a track length of 3 – 5 km.
This unique sporting event is rounded off by a varied social programme.
